Legal

Why are legal services important when starting a business in the Netherlands?

Beyond Consultancy

Because the rules that apply to your company here are not the ones you know from home, and the cost of finding that out late is high. Dutch law decides how your shares and voting rights work, what a director is personally liable for, which terms in your contracts are enforceable and which are not, and what you must document for tax, employment and privacy. Getting that right at the start is a small effort; repairing a shareholders' dispute or an unenforceable contract afterwards is not.
